Walking on Rainbow Bridge

Rainbow Bridge links Tokyo to the harbour district of Odaiba.You can walk for a part or for the whole length of the bridge. This is an easy yet quite interesting and special way to discover Tokyo harbour.

In order to reach the pedestrian walkway you have to take a "Yurikamome" line train from Shinbashi Station and get off at Shibaurafuto. From Exit 1 you have to walk for 200 metres. The path is quite well signaposted. Lifts will then bring you from street level to the bridge.

Once on top, you can choose to walk on the north walkway, facing the city, or on the south one, facing Odaiba.

The whole path is about 2 Kilometres long. It's quite spectacular, especially at sunset or at night.

Once in Odaiba, to bet back to Tokyo just take any Yurikamome line train from Odaibakaihinkoen station. Even on this side of the bridge the whole itinerary is well signaposted.
