La città è abbastanza compatta e si puo' andare dalla Stazione Centrale alla torre a piedi. in trenta minuti. In alternativa bisogna prendere l'autobus "LAM rossa" davanti all NH Hotel Cavalieri, di fronte alla stazione. Chi arriva da Lucca puo' scendere alla stazione Pisa San Rossore e camminare solo cinque minuti.

Pisa is quite compact in size and you can walk from the central station to the tower in about 30 minutes. Otherwise you can take the bus "LAM rossa" in front of the NH Hotel Cavalieri, just in front of the train station. If you are coming from Lucca, you are advised to alight at Pisa San Rossore station, a mere 5-minute-walk away from the tower.

Along the way from the station you will pass through Piazza dei Cavalieri. These are the headquarters of the Scuola Normale Superiore, a very prestigious university.

Ancora a Pisa: ponte Solferino. Su questo ponte tutti gli anni si svolge "il gioco del ponte", in cui i quartieri a nord del fiume Arno sfidano quelli a sud.
Back to Pisa: Ponte Solferino. Every year a game called "il gioco del ponte" takes place on this bridge. The town districts north of the river Arno challenge those south of the river.
