Abbiamo fatto le polpette in casa. Per prima cosa occorre bollire le patate.
We made some meatballs at home. First thing, we boil some potatoes.

Dopo si mette la carne macinata (un chilo) in una terrina.
After this, we put the minced meat (one Kilo) in a bowl.

Schiacciamo le patate con una forchetta
We mash the potatoes with a fork

E aggiungiamo un po' di latte

And then we add some milk

Mischiamo le patate alla carne macinata
We then blend the potatoes with the minced meat

E aggiungiamo mezza noce moscata grattugiata
And we add a half grated nutmeg

In seguito mettiamo il prezzemolo tagliato a pezzi piccoli
After the nutmeg, we put some parsley, sliced into small pieces

Stessa cosa per l'aglio
Same thing with garlic

Un pizzico di sale
A pinch of salt

E quattro uova
And four eggs

Il pane grattugiato
Bread crumbs

Aggiungiamo il pangrattato alle uova
We add the bread crumbs to the eggs

E'ora di impastare tutto!
It's time to knead the whole thing!

Mettiamo un po'di pangrattato su di un vassoio
We put some bread crumbs on a tray

E un po' su una busta di carta tagliata
And a bit on a torn paperbag

Facciamo delle palline con l'impasto e le passiamo nel pane
We make tiny balls using the dough and rub them on the bread

E dopo aver fritto le polpette, il risultato è questo!

And after frying the meatballs, this is the result!
